The new Chausport Store in the Auchan shopping centre in the town of Fayet in northern France opened in December 2009.
The variety of colours, shapes and surfaces creates a striking architecture. Product displays were fitted in front of coloured panels or wooden or stone walls depending on the brand and type of product. Sliding panel units – similar to an archive – are ideal for the storage and provision of different shoes and enable a display of the different shoe models on the end panel. Mono R4, a new, economical socket sytem from Visplay, is used for single shoe display. The Invisible 3 system was also selected – a very discreet horizontal support rail. The 3 mm profile into which merchandise supports are easily inserted, is used for clothing displays in mid-floor, for long shoe shelves and for the display of many small items and accessories in an aluminium panel.
